The Stiletto Award

A great big thanks to Andrea, at Andrea The Kitchen Witch, for nominating me for the Stiletto Award! I have to say that even though I can't nominate Andrea for the award (but I totally would if I could!), her blog is so sleek, meaningful, and fun to read. Her recipes make my mouth water, and she always has a great twist to any meal (i.e. Potato Salad made with Greek Yogurt) that makes you say "Hm, who would have thought of that? Andrea would have!" So a big mountain-of-quinoa thank you to Andrea!

1. Sarah at Wanderlust - Sarah writes about living and teaching English in China. Sarah, I miss you so much! Not only were you such a cheerful presence during your time in Columbus, your blog continues to bring your sunshine and poignant observations right back to all of us at home!

2. Julie at The Accidental Fat Chick - Julie shares so many interesting stories about working out, the Around the World Challenge at her gym, and living a healthy life! I love her humor and enjoy reading her blog every day!

3. Betty Rubble at I'm Loosing It - Any woman who can be living a weight-loss lifestyle and still have cupcakes as her blog background deserves a big hug and an award! Her blog entries are always full of laughs and smiles!

4. Simone at In[FAT]uation - I know that you are going through a difficult time with your deadlines and that it is causing you to lose some motivation, but I hope that this award will show you that we all support you! Also, Simone's blog is like reading a short entries to the UK version of Carrie Bradshaw, and I'm loving it! :)

5. TJ at TJ's Test Kitchen - Ok, so I know that I already nominated TJ for the Sunshine Award, but I can't help coming back again and again to read TJ's blog. If there is a woman who exemplifies the style of living and blogging, it is most certainly TJ! She's got everything from pool workout routines to pictures of her shopping "loot" to Bon Jovi concert photos - in short, any blogger must follow her! Plus, looking at her skinny minnie body amps up my motivation to keep going back to the gym (did I mention that I love that your first picture on your blog is your "before"?)!!

And, of course, even though I can't motivate Andrea, you should know that you are definitely a winner to me!! So there it is, folks, the Stiletto Award show - and I didn't even need a red carpet (not that pajamas and a laptop are really red carpet-worthy, but hey, they are comfortable!)
